Terms and Conditions

Effective date: September 4, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of RealmCrafter.net and your purchase, download, installation, and use of Realm Crafter products purchased directly from this website.

Realm Crafter is operated by Solstar Games, LLC, referred to in these Terms as “Realm Crafter,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

By using this website, creating an account, purchasing a product, or downloading Realm Crafter software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not purchase, download, or use the product.

About Realm Crafter

Realm Crafter is downloadable development software intended to help Unity creators build multiplayer role-playing game projects.

The product may include Unity editor tools, runtime systems, source code, scripts, prefabs, configuration files, sample characters, sample scenes, documentation, and other development materials.

Realm Crafter is a development toolkit rather than a standalone finished game. Sample scenes and playable demonstrations are provided to explain and test the toolkit’s development workflows.

Eligibility and Customer Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to make a purchase.

You are responsible for providing accurate account, billing, and contact information. You are also responsible for protecting your account credentials and for activities performed through your account.

Please contact us promptly if you believe your account or purchase information has been used without authorization.

Purchases and Payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable sales tax, VAT, or other transaction charges may be added during checkout when required.

Payment may be processed by PayPal Payments or another third-party payment provider. Those providers may apply their own terms and privacy policies to the payment transaction.

A purchase is complete when payment has been accepted and we have made the applicable product available for download or delivery.

We may correct genuine pricing, description, or availability errors. If an error affects a completed order, we will contact the purchaser and provide an appropriate correction or refund.

Digital Delivery

Realm Crafter products are delivered electronically. Customers are responsible for supplying a compatible computer, supported Unity version, internet connection, and any required third-party accounts or software.

If you complete a purchase but cannot access the download, contact support@solstargames.com with your order number. We will make reasonable efforts to restore access.

You are responsible for keeping a backup of downloaded products and project files. We do not guarantee that every older product version will remain available for download indefinitely.

Direct-Purchase License

Unless a product page or separate license states otherwise, a direct purchase grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, and perpetual license to use the purchased version of Realm Crafter, subject to these Terms.

Each direct-purchase license is for one user or developer seat. That user may install and use the toolkit on up to two computers used by that person. Each additional developer who accesses or works directly with the Realm Crafter editor tools, source code, or package contents must have a separate license unless a team or multi-seat license has been purchased.

You may:

  • Use and modify Realm Crafter within your own Unity projects.
  • Create personal or commercial games and interactive applications using the toolkit.
  • Distribute Realm Crafter runtime components in compiled form as part of a completed game or application.
  • Modify Realm Crafter-owned source code for use within your licensed projects.
  • Hire a properly licensed contractor to work on your project.

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, share, upload, or redistribute the Realm Crafter package, editor tools, source code, documentation, or sample source files as a competing asset, toolkit, template, or development product.
  • Share one user license among multiple developers.
  • Make the toolkit or its source files available in a public repository.
  • Remove copyright, trademark, licensing, or third-party notices.
  • Claim ownership of Realm Crafter or third-party content included with it.
  • Use the product in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.
  • Use the toolkit or included content to train an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model unless that use is expressly permitted in writing and is also allowed by every applicable third-party license.

Your completed game may be sold or distributed under your own title. These Terms do not give you ownership of the Realm Crafter name, logo, trademarks, website, documentation, or toolkit itself.

Unity Asset Store Purchases

If you purchase Realm Crafter through the Unity Asset Store, your purchase, license, installation rights, payment, and refund eligibility are governed by Unity’s Asset Store Terms of Service and End User License Agreement rather than the direct-purchase provisions of these Terms.

Questions concerning Unity Asset Store payments or refunds should be submitted through Unity’s applicable customer-support process.

Purchasing Realm Crafter directly from RealmCrafter.net does not place the purchase in your Unity Asset Store account. Similarly, an Asset Store purchase does not automatically create a direct-purchase entitlement on RealmCrafter.net.

Third-Party Software and Content

Realm Crafter may work with or contain components created by third parties. Examples may include Unity packages, Photon networking technology, movement systems, open-source software, sample artwork, character models, animations, or content distributed under licenses such as Creative Commons Zero.

Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses and notices. If a third-party license grants rights that differ from these Terms, that license controls the use of that particular third-party component.

Unless the product page expressly states otherwise, customers are responsible for obtaining required third-party products, accounts, licenses, subscriptions, or API credentials. Realm Crafter does not control third-party products and cannot guarantee their continued availability or compatibility.

Third-party content included as sample material may not be presented as original Realm Crafter artwork. Restrictions in these Terms do not remove rights independently granted under an applicable third-party license.

Compatibility and Technical Requirements

Supported Unity versions, rendering pipelines, networking packages, operating systems, and other requirements will be identified on the applicable product page or in the documentation.

Please review those requirements before purchasing.

Software updates from Unity, Photon, operating-system providers, or other third parties may affect compatibility. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the product for its stated supported environment, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every Unity release, third-party package, custom asset, plugin combination, or future technology change.

You are responsible for backing up your Unity project before importing, updating, modifying, or removing Realm Crafter.

Updates and Product Changes

A purchase licenses the version delivered to you. We may provide bug fixes, compatibility updates, improvements, or additional features, but future updates are not guaranteed unless expressly promised as part of the purchase.

Roadmaps and development plans describe current intentions rather than contractual promises. Features, schedules, dependencies, and release plans may change as development and testing continue.

We may discontinue an older product version or support for an outdated Unity version. Discontinuation does not cancel the license to a version you have already lawfully downloaded.

Support

Support covers reasonable assistance with installation, documented workflows, confirmed product defects, and supported configurations.

Support does not include creating a customer’s game, debugging unrelated third-party assets, teaching general Unity development, or guaranteeing compatibility with every custom project.

When requesting support, please include your Realm Crafter version, Unity version, operating system, relevant third-party package versions, reproduction steps, and any applicable Unity Console messages.

Refund Policy for Direct Purchases

Because Realm Crafter is a downloadable digital product, direct purchases are generally final after the product has been downloaded or accessed.

We will consider a refund request when:

  • The same product was purchased accidentally more than once.
  • The customer paid but could not obtain access to the download.
  • A material defect prevents the product from performing substantially as described in a supported environment, and we cannot provide a reasonable correction.
  • A refund is required by applicable law.

Refund requests should be sent to support@solstargames.com within 14 days of purchase and should include the order number and reason for the request.

Changing your mind, lacking the required Unity knowledge, failing to meet the published system requirements, or encountering an unsupported third-party configuration does not ordinarily qualify for a refund after download.

Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Purchases made through the Unity Asset Store are governed by Unity’s refund policy and must be handled through Unity.

Intellectual Property

Realm Crafter, the Realm Crafter logo, the website, original software, original documentation, and other Realm Crafter-owned materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Purchasing the product provides a license to use it under these Terms. It does not transfer ownership of the product or its intellectual property.

“Unity” and other third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. References to third-party products describe compatibility or required technology and do not imply ownership or sponsorship.

Feedback

If you voluntarily provide suggestions, bug reports, or general product feedback, you allow us to use that feedback to improve Realm Crafter without an obligation to compensate you.

This does not transfer ownership of your game, artwork, source code, confidential information, or other project content to us.

Do not send confidential or proprietary project materials unless they are reasonably necessary for a support request and you are authorized to share them.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Realm Crafter and the website are provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee that the product will meet every customer’s requirements, operate without interruption, work with every third-party asset, or be entirely free of errors.

No software development toolkit can guarantee the completion, quality, commercial success, security, or performance of a game made with it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Realm Crafter and Solstar Games, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the website or product, including lost profits, lost business, lost data, project corruption, or the cost of substitute software.

Our total liability concerning a direct purchase will not exceed the amount the customer paid directly to us for the product giving rise to the claim during the twelve months preceding the claim.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

Suspension or Termination

We may suspend download access, support, or a license if a customer commits a material violation of these Terms, including unauthorized redistribution, license sharing, fraud, or infringement of intellectual-property rights.

Before terminating a license for a curable violation, we may provide a reasonable opportunity to correct it. Serious or intentional infringement may result in immediate termination.

Upon termination, the customer must stop using and distributing Realm Crafter except where applicable law or a controlling third-party license provides otherwise.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Unless applicable law requires another location, disputes concerning direct purchases or these Terms will be handled by the appropriate state or federal courts located in Washtenaw County, Michigan.

Before beginning formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to make a reasonable attempt to resolve the matter through direct communication.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or business changes. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.

Changes will not retroactively remove perpetual license rights already granted for a purchased product version. Continued use of the website or a subsequently provided update may be subject to the revised Terms.
